"Leaps and Bounds," part of the Affording Hope Project, is a theatrical piece conceived by Tevyn East, a performance artist who explores how faith, ecology and the global economy intersect. Tevyn draws on a variety of art forms--storytelling, song, poetry, movement and drama to shed light on the driving factors of our ecological crisis. She explores in-depth the scriptural foundations of just ecology/economy, challenging and inspiring faith communities to imagine alternative ways of living and being that will promote human wellness and ecological health. Presented before 70 communities in over 40 cities across the United States, this one-woman show is on its second nation-wide tour. Check out the site to learn more about Tevyn East and her vision of using art to awaken peoples' imaginations to new ways of inhabiting and relating to earth.
